I PRESENT TO YOU. . .

Blogmas 2025

spend the next 25 days with me as I document the Christmas season!

blogmas 2025

December always feels like a mix of chaos and family stuff, and this year I want to actually document it instead of letting it blur by. For the next twenty-five days, I’ll be writing something everyday, just little things that make this season feel more special to me. Nothing perfect, nothing forced. If you’re reading along, enjoy the next 25 days with me!

day 1: Christmas Playlist

A snippet of my new and improved Christmas playlist! Went more jazzy and nostalgic as opposed to my fun playlist from last year. I'll definitely save this for Christmas eve though, because #1 and #2 always make me cry:

1. Have yourself a Merry little Christmas by Frank Sinatra

2. The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole

3. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams

4. White Christmas by Bing Crosby

5. I'll Be Home for Christmas by Bing Crosby

6. It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas by Micheal Buble

7. Last Christmas by Wham!

8. Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee

day 2: Christmas Wishlist

Gold Rings. I like dainty jewelry, but I'm a maximalist so I've always loved the really chunky bohemian jewelry. My motto with jewelry is “If I don’t jingle, I'm not wearing enough.”

Caffeine. Pills, coffee, tea. . . Any type really. Everyday I wake up really early (4 am) and go to bed relatively late (11:30) so I have trouble staying awake during the day.

A Going-Out Bag/Purse. I actually have quite a few, but I'm building a collection of vintage and unique bags. I don’t need anything expensive, since another thing on this list already costs a lot of money. Something chic, something thrifted, would make my day.

A Digit Camera. This is really the only thing I actually want. I believe it’s “trending” right now but I've actually always wanted one. I asked for one every year when I was younger and finally got a really cheap plastic one when I was around 10. This year though, I want something a bit more legit I can use for photos!

day 4: Christmas Superstitions?

A list of really random things that makeup my Christmas Ritual. Been doing all of these since I was six!

Flush Ice cubes down the toilet, go to sleep with my pjs inside out, dance around to the song All I Want for Christmas is You, sleep with a spoon under my pillow, brush my teeth with my non dominant hand, admire the Christmas Tree in the middle of the night, and lastly, stay up as late as possible on the night before Christmas eve.

day 5: my favorite holiday foods

Mac and Cheese: is actually one of my favorite foods EVER. I'm not sure if its a holiday food of just a thanksgiving food, all I know is that I love it and that I could eat mac and cheese all day and night.

COOKIESSSS: I wait all year for the dainty little decorated holiday cookies that make their appearance every. Store bought or home-made I really don't care.

Chocolate Pie: Pleaseeee not homemade. Unlike other holiday food, I do not like homemade pie. I need the one from the ALDI Supermarket freezer section, right out of a box.

day 6: Shopping Because Everything has Discounts

Just scored some cozy and cute Black Friday finds.

I got a pair of low-rise Aeropostale jeans that are going to be really good for layering this winter, a pair or pink and black fold-over VS leggings which are so incredibly comfortable. I stopped wearing leggings years ago because of how much I disliked tight pants/bottoms, but these ones are surprisingly loose and easy to move around in. Lastly I got a camo hoodie. I mean, yeah it's kind of a micro trend, but I got it more because it was really sort and warm, and there was an insane sale.

day 7: Secret Santa, What I got. . .

Me and my friends did a Secret Santa! I went to TJmax and bought the absolute best gift: McDonald food themes socks, that come in a happy meal box. When being offered gifts, I always go for something edible, so ended up with a box of really fancy chocolates.

day 7: Winter Capsule Wardrobe

My winter wardrobe is all about comfiness and being really cozy. Think like over-sized sweaters, chunky scarfs, leg warmers, and knee-high boots. I'm also keeping it simple for a change with smaller jewelry pieces and cross-body bags.

day 8: My New Year Resolutions pt. 1

For Nutcracker 2026, I want to be the Mouse King. (Since I can't really audition for it, I plan to specifically request to be considered for the role.) This year I was a doll, and even though I liked the dance, I feel like it didn't look that great on me. In addition to that, I really don't see myself being a fairy or Clara.. . Sooo my goal is to be Rat King before I graduate.

Take more Walks! I really love walking around my neighborhood, but don't really do it that often.

day 9: My Least Favorite Holiday Food

Not technically a food, but eggnog. The one time i tried it, i threw up because of the sheer nastiness.

Hot Choolate>>>Eggnog

day 10: We Called Santa. . .

This is your sign to use Santa AI this holiday season. This is a brainrot conversation between me, my friend (B), and Santa Claus.

Santa ai: What would you like to tell Santa today?

B: I want labubu. . . .

Santa ai: Ho ho ho! Labubu, you say? Hmm… Santa’s elves just told me that Labubu is a very special request!

Me: Yes papa. Is Mrs Clause single, please?

Santa ai: Ho ho ho! Well, Mrs. Claus is a very busy lady herself, baking cookies, managing the elves, and keeping the North Pole running smoothly—but I’m afraid she’s happily married to me!

B: dawg what is you doin...

day 11: My Winter Break So Far

Expectation: I wake up early, reset my life, romanticize winter, and finally get ahead on everything.
Reality: I wake up at noon, scroll for two hours, eat random snacks, and swear I’ll be productive “tomorrow.”

Expectation: Productive mornings, glowing skin, perfect routines.

Reality: Messy bun, dry lips, and living in the same hoodie all week.

Expectation: I’ll have so much free time.

Reality: Somehow still tired.

day 12: 5 Things I’m Grateful for This Winter

1. Cozy hoodies that feel like a warm hug.

2. Late-night snacks and hot chocolate (no judgment).

3. My friends—messy group chats, chaotic hangouts, all of it.

4. Quiet mornings to actually get stuff done… sometimes.

5. Music, movies, and random little things that make winter feel less cold.

day 13: THE Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients: 2 cups milk (any kind), 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste), 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, Pinch of salt, Whipped cream or marshmallows to top

Instructions: Heat milk in a small pot over medium heat. Whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Pour into your favorite mug. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon, chocolate chips, or drizzle caramel on top.

day 14: Journal Entry?

Woke up late today, but the winter sun made my room feel extra cozy. Spent the morning scrolling. Did some writing, tried to organize my room, but mostly just lay in bed. My friends and I texted about our holiday plans.

day 15: Winter Bucket List

  • Watch a new holiday movie I’ve never seen.
  • Make at least one cozy dessert that doesn’t burn.
  • Take a snow or winter aesthetic photo.
  • Get cute new pajamas.
  • Have a mini holiday hangout with my friends.
  • Do something nice for someone else, even if it’s small.

day 16: Winter Haiku I Wrote

snow falls soft tonight

memories in silver light

heart glows warm and bright

day 17: Oop- missed a couple days lol

But we're back! Over the past few days, I fell sick, did some medical shadowing, went to take Christmas pictures, and did alot more wintery things. So now I'm going to take an hour or two to catch up on the last couple of days!

day 18: Shower Thoughts

  • Winter break is basically a free trial of summer break
  • Winter is the only season that comes twice a year. In December and in January/February
  • The moral of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is that no one likes you unless you're useful. So be useful, I guess
  • Santa is breaking and entering people's houses every year.
  • In addition to trespassing, he uses unfair labor practices, animal abuse, and has had at least one hit-and-run.

day 19: What I Keep in My Bag

Since I change my bags quite a lot, I have a "purse bowl" which I keep beside my door. Inside is everything I need when I leave the house.

Wallet to support my expensive lifestyle (there is nothing but lint in my wallet btw)

Lip Products. Arguably the most important

Headphones because I hate being in silence

A notebook and pen because I get random inspiration and sometimes need to write them down (in my notes app too)

Snacks. Self explanatory

Sunglasses. I thrifted a really sick vintage pair, and I can't wait to start wearing them this summer

Mini perfume because baddies can't have B.O.

day 20: Things I'm Proud of

  1. Myself
  2. My little brother
  3. My pothos plant
  4. The dinner i cooked two nights ago
  5. Myself again, for finishing the book series I was putting off

Day 21: Low Effort Hangouts I Love

  • Watching movies at someone's house. With plenty of snacks, of course
  • Touring our city and going places we haven't been before
  • Going to grab food
  • Sitting and just talking
  • Napping

day 23: What I'm Leaving Behind in 2025 (or what I'm trying to leave behind. . .)

Clothes I Haven't Worn in the Last Seven Months. Haven't worn them now, probably won't wear them in the future. Overly Competitiveness. Every has their flaws, and I hate how I turn everything into a competition it's really unhealthy. Stressing About Being Perfect. I'm trying to be done with acting like I can't make mistakes. I probably won't drop this habit overnight, or even over the next year, but I mean, I can try.Photography. Pressing pause on this for now. Not because I dont like it, but because I don't really have the time or energy for it. I've also realized I'm better at other things and want to focus on those instead.A Couple of Friendships. I think I'll just rather have a smaller circle that feels real than force fake connections.

day 24: My Cozy Night Snack + Drink Lineup

My go-to lineup is simple but perfect: a steaming mug of hot chocolate piled with marshmallows, a bowl of buttery popcorn for that salty balance, and a soft cookie.

day 25: MERRY CHRISTMAS <3

For me, the real reason behind the Christmas season is remembering the birth of Jesus and the hope that came with it. It’s not really about the presents or the decorations, but more about slowing down, being grateful, and showing love to the people around me. This time of year always reminds me to be kinder, give more than I take, and appreciate the little moments with family and friends.

Wishing you a peaceful, cozy Christmas filled with warmth, laughter, and people you love!
